The terms outline the user's responsibilities, the use of personal information, confidentiality, data security, ownership of data, termination, disclaimer of liability, governing law, and changes to the terms and conditions. Users are required to accept these terms and conditions to access and use the system. It is important to carefully read and understand these terms before using the system.
1. Introduction These terms and conditions govern the use of the Applicant Tracking System (“ATS”) provided by Pharmaron UK Limited, a company incorporated and registered in England and Wales with company number 08755111, whose registered office is at The Old Glassworks, Nettlefold Road, Cardiff, Caerdydd, CF24 5JQ, United Kingdom (“Pharmaron” or “we” or “us” or “our”). By accessing or using the ATS, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, do not access or use the ATS.
2. User Responsibilities Users of the system must agree to use the system for lawful purposes only and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
3. Use of Information The system will collect and store personal information of job applicants, including but not limited to their resume, cover letter, and contact information. This information will be used solely for the purpose of considering the candidate for employment with Pharmaron. By using the system, you consent to the collection, processing, and retention of your personal data in accordance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
4. Confidentiality Pharmaron agrees to keep all applicant information confidential and to only share it with authorized personnel involved in the hiring process. We will not disclose your personal data to any third parties unless required by law or with your consent.
5. Data Security Pharmaron agrees to take reasonable measures to protect the security and integrity of applicant data, including using industry-standard security protocols and encryption technologies. We will implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risks presented by the processing of personal data.
6. Ownership of Data Pharmaron retains ownership of all data collected through the system, including applicant information and usage data. You have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data in accordance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
7. Termination Pharmaron reserves the right to terminate access to the system at any time, without notice, if a user violates any of the Terms and Conditions or applicable laws and regulations.
8. Disclaimer of Liability Pharmaron will not be liable for any damages or losses resulting from the use of the system, including but not limited to lost data, lost profits, or any other damages arising from the use or inability to use the system. By using the system, you acknowledge and agree that you assume full responsibility for your use of the system and any consequences thereof.
9. Governing Law These Terms and Conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Pharmaron is located. Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
10. Changes to Terms and Conditions Pharmaron reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time, without notice, by posting the modified terms on the system. Your continued use of the system after such modifications constitute your acceptance of the modified Terms and Conditions.
11. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions Users must indicate their acceptance of these Terms and Conditions in order to access and use the applicant tracking system. By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these terms.
